OCD?

So, I got tagged. I'm supposed to write about 6 things i'm ocd about. This should be fun..

1. I constantly have to be washing my hands, and if i don't have soap and water near by, i use hand sanitizer. (even though, i know it doesn't always get rid of the germs, it's more of a security feeling) I have hand sanitizer on my keys, in my purse, on my desk, and at my work.

2. I hate it when the toilet paper roll goes under. It has to go over the top, and if i ever come to your house for a visit and it rolls under, i will fix it for you.

3. My closet... it's arranged in two rows. The first row is my short sleeved shirts. They all face one way and they are arranged by color. It goes red/pink, orange, yellow, green, blue purple, then to stripes, brown, white, gray, and black, and then any miscellaneous. The second row is the same, but it is with my long sleeved shirts. It has to be this way, and if one shirt is out of place, it bugs me and i fix it right away

4. When i put a pan on the stove, the handle always has to go to the right, no matter what burner it is on.

5. When i go up or down the stairs, i always have to count them.

6. If something is on display at a grocery store or something, and one of the items is turned or crooked I always want to fix it. If i have the time I will fix it. If I don't have the time and i don't fix it, it haunts me the rest of the day.

I choose to tag Brooke, Stef, and Kayla on this, and anyone else that feels like doing it

I'm happy with life today

Today, i went to the grocery store. I bought two cans of chips, three cups of noodle, milk, a block of cheese, and a can of corn all under ten dollars! Yay! Also i filled my tank up the other day on only 15.25 It was wonderful!

Another one of Stefanies requests..

Growing up, i always slept on cotton pillows. I never thought much of it either until I was about twelve, i slept on and discovered the glorious night time feel of feather pillows. From there on out, i always wanted a feather pillow. They seemed to me that they were more form fitting, and much puffier and soft. but life goes on, and i kept to my cotton. It wasn't so bad and i was just happy to have a pillow.
I moved out this fall to an apartment that was fully furnished, (including a bed and a mattress) much to my dismay, the mattress was about as comfortable as a park bench on a frozen night. It was about this time, i forgot about the absence of the feathers in my pillow, and grew to REALLY appreciate the cotton pillows.
It wasn't long until my awesome aunt Mikki discovered what i was sleeping on, and you'll never guess what she bought me... A feather padding! This is better than just comfort for your face. It's for your whole body! Woot! It's a wonderful padding, and it has done me well. Lately, however, the feathers have started to poke out all over, and it's not the most comfortable thing. I don't know how they poke out like that, but when they do it's feels like needles. I've also discovered that sometimes they like to leak out, and on occasion i will find a feather here or there just lying around or in my bed. Lame, I've decided that cotton pillows is the way to go after all.

Perhaps they should create a support group for this.

Lets not kid ourselves we all have our prejudices against them. I know that if you were at a grocery store, you would turn your nose up to some, and get warm and fuzzy about others. Please, i know that if you went out to lunch there is only a specific type you would want to eat that sandwhich with, and you cringe at the thought of eating it with any other. You can't deny it, i know that everybody does it, and i can't say that i'm not guilty of it myself.
I'm talking about cheese people! Colby, cheddar, feta, string, cream, cottage, provolone, pepper jack, parmesan Don't tell me that not one of those didn't make you salivate a little bit more than the rest. I know there is that one you prefer over the rest. Perhaps it depends on what your eating, sure, but whatever your preference in any occasion, doesn't it make your food just taste better?
I love cheese! I love cheddar when i'm making my favorite dish (cowboy soup) I love parmersan when i'm eating spaghetti, and when i have the munchies nothing is better than diving in to that tub of cottage cheese or grabbing a piece of string cheese to go! However, like i said there everyone has their prejudices on their preference in cheese, and i've got to say, i just don't like swiss. What's the deal with it anyway? Why are there so many holes in it? You know there has got to be something wrong with it when you can see right through it. It's almost as if mice came and took out some chunks and then the people decided to go ahead and sale it anyway. Ick! Wikepedia describes the taste as nutty bittersweet. If you ask me, that sounds more like personalities than flavor. In my opinion Swiss cheese is what gives cheese a bad name. Anyway, now i have rambled on far too long, and i honestly don't even know what i'm saying anymore. but my point is this. I'm Samantha Williams, and i am prejudice against Swiss cheese.

I need...

I need:
A change.
to get out.
to face my fear.
Help!

I want:
Understanding.
to be better.
skittles!

Yay general conference.

So it's conference weekend. (Yay!) I just watched the end of the Sunday morning session. Man, those old men are so cute and in tune with us younger people. Good times. I know they are inspired. Yesterday, Brady and i got the oppurtunity to go to the Saturday morning session, and it was awesome! The spirit was so strong there, and i felt at peace.
Anyway, now i'm sitting at my parents house with wet hair, in my cold office. It's fun stuff. Jonathan, Jen and Sharli are here, and it's nice to be with the family. Jonathan and Jen are making cinnamon rolls and they smell amazing! I think i'll go and see how long it will be till i can have one.

i need to blog more

So, i'm chilling in my room with Brooke, dreading going to work. I'm so bored, but i don't want to do my homework. (nor do i have time to really get in to it) I threw Brooke a twix and she dropped it, and then she almost fell off my bed trying to get it. (Because my bed is 5 feet off the ground. No joke. ....and that's my life as of now. The end.

Yay Olympics!

The Olympics are here!! Sweet potatoes! There is nothing better than every country uniting together to have some friendly sport competitions. I watched the last of the opening ceremonies last night, and it was so neat to watch every country come in and then stand for the Olympic anthem. I swear that's the closes to world peace we'll get for a while. Oh, and the way they brought that torch in and lit it was so awesome! Anybody else as excited as i am?

My brain is running to fast for my hands to keep up, so this makes no sense.

I've had an extremely long day! I worked a double shift, I've come down with this nasty cold, that decided to hit really hard today. I've been running around all day chasing kids, brainstorming lesson plans, and serving people food. I've been up since seven this morning, and guess what? It is now two in the morning, and i'm wide awake. I really wish i knew why.. Could be the cold medication i took. That's very possible, but who knows, i'm always up at this hour. It's like i'm nocturnal and forgot how to sleep when the moon comes up.
Ugh, Although i hate being up at this hour sometimes, it's truly bitter sweet. I love it because my brain runs faster than my heart, this early in the morning and for a couple short hours, i'm able to think clearly, and think about life. It's such a shame i let my heart think for me the rest of my life. Sometimes it gets me in to trouble. ... ..On the other hand, i feel like my thoughts are lost, and while i'm writting this i feel as if i'm making no sense. I think i'll try sleeping.

*Sigh* Today, I have been nothing but lazy. I've had too much time to think of all the things i'm doing wrong in my life. I need to shape up, so instead of worrying about my future, i know that it will take care of itself. Simple as that.

Give me the old and out dated

You know that song by Tim Mcgraw that's called 'I miss back when', and it sings about how he misses the old days when a hoe was a hoe, a screw was a screw the wind was all that blew, and crack is what you were doing when you were telling jokes? It's a great song, and i completely agree with everything that song has to say and more.

Last night I was flipping through the channels, and I swear more than half of the shows airing either showed cleavage, violence or both. What is happening to the world? Today, I was at the library. All I wanted to do was go research in a good ol encyclopedia. I went to the front room where I remember them being kept not too long ago.. You know what I found instead? Movies! Not just educational movies, oh no, I found Charlie and the chocolate factory, and a knights tale and others that didn’t have much educational value. You know where I found the encyclopedias? Pushed to a small back room, along with the Guinness world book of records. Since when has the library started placing a bigger emphasis on entertainment than education? What is happening to the world? While logging on to the internet to get to this site I had a pop up add telling me how to get help in case I had an std. Are you serious? I mean, don't get me wrong, that's all fine and dandy that people are out there with help for those types of things, but don’t people realize that there are children in this world who log on to the internet every day? Do we no longer have values in this country? It is all just a free for all, every person for themselves race for popularity and money.
What happened to humanity, education, and service? Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we placed more emphasis on that? Don’t you think everybody would profit a little bit better from that than sex, violence and entertainment? I’m disgusted to where the new American values have transfered too.Perhaps one day, we will wake up from this twisted state of pride and start helping others, which in turn , will benefit themselves far greater than what people are trying for now. Until then, I will continue to dream, and sing of the good ol' days.

So.. I'm pretty much loving the sun. I hear it's going to snow again this week though. Boo. I think i'm going to move to Arizona.

So, I’m dating this boy right now named Brady. He’s a crazy, but so am i. I guess you can say we go good together. Our typical night may consist of going out for dinner or ice cream, running up and down the aisles at Wal mart, and then watching something, whether it be going out to a movie, or watching dirty jobs on discovery. However, that kid is so random that if we ended up driving to Vegas just to have dinner there and then drive home, would not be unusual. He works at Cusa technologies, which is some fortune 500 company, while I make punch and cut brownies for a living. Haha! It’s kind of intimidating, but oh well. He’s pretty much awesome and I could go on for pages, but I really just feel like posting pictures now.
